These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and sorensenonsound LLC ("sorensenonsound," "we," "us") governing your use of the Soothr iOS application and any related widgets or extensions (together, "Soothr" or "the app"). By downloading, installing, or using Soothr, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Soothr for your personal, non-commercial use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's usage rules.
Soothr is offered as a one-time paid download. All payment processing, receipts, and refund requests are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — sorensenonsound does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds ourselves. To request a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page or the "Request a Refund" flow in your Apple ID purchase history.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble Soothr except where applicable law expressly permits it; redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app; use the app in any way that violates applicable law; or attempt to interfere with the app's normal operation.
Soothr plays a white-noise sound loop for comfort and relaxation. It is not a medical device, is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and is not a substitute for professional pediatric, medical, or safety guidance. Always follow current safe-sleep guidance from your pediatrician or a recognized health authority (for example, safe distance and volume when used near an infant). Use Soothr at your own discretion and judgment.
Soothr, its name, logo, audio recordings, and design are the property of sorensenonsound LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond using the app as intended.
Soothr is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or iOS version.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, sorensenonsound LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, Soothr. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid to purchase it.
You may stop using Soothr at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue any part of Soothr, with or without notice, though we'll always aim to give reasonable notice of any change that affects functionality you've already paid for.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which sorensenonsound LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where superseded by Apple's own Licensed Application End User License Agreement for matters it governs.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use Soothr after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever a change is made.
